I am Freelance Oboist and experienced music teacher based in Hesketh Bank, near Preston.

I studied with Alison Teale and Gordon Hunt at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama for my Bachelor of Music degree, David Walter at the Paris Conservatoire, and Chris Cowie and Celia Nicklin at the Royal Academy of Music for my Masters.

As an orchestral musician, I have worked with the Royal Liverpool Philharmonic, Halle, Northern Sinfonia, Welsh National Opera, Sinfonia Cymru, National Symphony Orchestra and Brandenburg Sinfonia. I also represented the UK in the Lions European Music Competition.

I have many years of teaching experience spanning all ages and abilities.
