Alex Fontaine is a professional freelance oboist based in Sydney. He works primarily with the Australian opera and ballet orchestra, The Sydney Philharmonia orchestra, the metropolitan orchestra, the Sydney lyric Orchestra, Sydney Symphony Orchestra and musical theatre pit orchestras.
As a teacher he tutors at Sydney girls high school, Fort Street high school, Saint Mary's Cathedral, Cranbrook and Annandale North primary school as well as privately at home in his music studio.
