Studied oboe at Birmingham Conservatoire and National Centre for Orchestral Studies, Goldsmiths'College, gaining diplomas in performance teaching and orchestral studies.
Was a student of Neil Black, Gordon Hunt and Antony Miller.
Worked as a freelance oboist from 1982-92 , in orchestral , chamber, solo and radio work at home and abroad
After the birth of my children, I worked mainly as a teacher, but also still do some freelance playing.
